How Much Does Professional Porch Decorating Cost?
One of the first questions people ask when they hear about professional porch decorating is: how much does it cost? It's a fair question. We're not a giant faceless service. We're a small local company, and we think you deserve a straight answer.
Here's exactly how our pricing works, what's included, and how to think about whether it's worth it for you.
What Does a Pumpkin Porch Package Include?
When you order from The Charming Stoop, you're not just paying for pumpkins. You're paying for:
Curation and sourcing. We know where to find the best pumpkins in the Triangle: heirloom varieties, whites, and specialty pumpkins in the right mix of sizes, plus fresh hay bales. That knowledge has taken years to build, and it's why our displays don't look like a grocery-store haul.
Delivery. Every package is delivered to your porch on the day you choose. No loading the SUV, no hauling 30-pound pumpkins across a parking lot.
Design, if you want it. Our two smaller packages are DIY-friendly: we deliver, you style. Add our design service for $75 and we arrange every pumpkin before we leave. Our two larger packages include design.
Cleanup, if you want it. Add season-end cleanup and we come back in November and take it all away. No rotting pumpkins on your porch in December. No hauling.

How Much Does Each Package Cost?
We offer four packages designed for different porch sizes and budgets, plus custom work. Delivery is included with all of them, and every package is bookable online.

The Welcome ($349) is our entry package for condos, townhomes, and modest stoops, delivered ready for you to style. The Charming Stoop ($549) is the most popular: a full, festive display for a standard single-family entryway. The Grand Entrance ($895) and The Estate ($1,395) include full design, so we deliver and style the whole entrance. Custom Design starts at $1,500: you book online and Egle contacts you to design and schedule it together.
What Do Add-Ons Cost?
Three add-ons, no surprises: design and styling is $75 (already included on the two largest packages), season-end cleanup is $125 (we return in November and haul everything away), and extra hay bales are $35 each. Delivery is included in Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Youngsville, and a $25 to $50 delivery fee applies across the rest of the Triangle depending on your ZIP.
Is a Pumpkin Porch Package Worth the Money?
That depends on how you value your time.
Sourcing a fall porch yourself (the kind that actually looks designed, not just assembled) typically involves two to four hours of shopping across multiple stops (farm, nursery, home goods store), plus the hauling. Call it a Saturday morning, and your trunk will never be the same.
Then in November, another hour or two to take it down, dispose of rotting pumpkins, and clean the porch.
If your time is worth $50 an hour, a self-directed fall porch project costs $150 to $300 in time alone, before you spend a dollar on materials. Add the materials for a mid-size display and you're at our Charming Stoop tier, except you spent your weekend shopping and hauling.
That's why our packages work two ways:
- Love the styling part? Order a package, skip the shopping and hauling, and create the display yourself. The fun part stays yours.
- Want it fully done for you? Add design for $75 (or choose a larger package that includes it) and the only thing you lift is your coffee.

How Do I Sign Up?
Bookings are open now. Deliveries run Tuesday through Friday, September 15 to October 16, and we decorate a limited number of porches, so days sell out.
